This year they decided to show footage of the contestants that got kicked off after the show. They followed Jorge and Jasmine to a party where friends, family, and the other contestants were waiting to greet them. At the end of what seemed like a festive time, the booted gave speeches and Jorge closed by saying “don’t get too comfortable because you’re all going to get eliminated.” That was kind of a dick thing to say!!! right?
After the usual time wasting, they got to the first round of results and Danny Gokey, Lil Rounds, and Anoop Desai are all safe. Next they asked Michael Sarver and Allison to stand up, and Ryan implies that only one is in the bottom three. He announces Allison, and she exlaims “Oh my God!” as if she was SHOCKED that it was her. Which she was. She gets over to the loser chairs and says “ain’t no big thang.” I’m sorry but is this someone we want to be our American Idol??? This girl is a total bitch. Or at least she tries to be to cover up her insecurities. If she really doesnt care about being up there and it’s “no big thang” then we should send that hobag home. Take a clue from Danny Gokey- he knows he’s good but he’s humble enough to not let on. Allison on the other hand thinks she’s God’s gift. K, enough of my rant. Oh and Sarver turned out to be in the bottom too.
Scott MacIntyre, Megan Joy, Matt Giraud, and Kris Allen (i was wrong)…safe. Ryan Seacrest then told Alexis and Adam to stand and asked Randy who he thought would be going home-he said Allison. Wait….Allison was already in the bottom….Yes, he got her name wrong. Has that ever really happened when it’s not been Simon trying to be funny? that’s got to be harsh if one of the judges doesn’t even remember your name. In any event, Alexis was sent to the bottom. Soon after, Allison was sent back. She better have gotten her badly need personality check. But i doubt it.
So Michael and Alexis stand together in the bottom three, and the judges say that they would consider giving the save to one person. Ryan announces Michael is safe and Simon says that Alexis is the one that they would consider giving the save to (which by the way means that they thought Michael Sarver kind of sucked). Alexis performs and Simon said it was good….but not good enough, and Alexis is sent home:( This is really sad to me, because she’s clearly one of the more talented singers. This makes me even more angry towards Scott and the other sucky ones. They’re going to get voted off eventually…why not let the real talent shine?? AMERICAN…PLEASE!
