I’ve decided that I’m only going to talk about the people that really matter. Let’s get started. Tonight was Motown night which I’m not too big a fan of. I mean of course I love Motown, but it’s hard for anyone of these clowns to sing better than the Four Tops and Jackson Five, etc.
Matt Giruad sang “Let’s get in on” by Marvin Gaye and boy, did I want to get it on with him. I’m sure every other girl thought the same, as Kara pointed out. But damn. He’s hot. And talented. I know that Luke’s friend found my poem and told him about it, so if any of Matt’s friends are reading this, please tell Matt that I would like to get it on with him as soon as possible.
Adam Lambert, who i’m usually not a fan of, did amazing. And he went all clean-cut and looked super cute!!!!! Not that I’d want him to change his goth-rock thing he’s got going on, but I do think he’d get a lot more chicks if he changed the hair and layed off the eyeliner a little. That is if he’s straight. Anyways, I think I’m becoming an Adam fan. He’s unique and original.
Danny Gokey performed “Get Ready” and it was not his best performance. Simon called it clumsy and amateur. I think it was a little goofy and Vegas-y. He joined the background singers for a little dance off which was TERRIBLE and his vocals weren’t that good. He also didn’t listen to Smokey’s advice which clearly was a bad call. I think if he had removed the trumpet and the big band feel it would have gone over a lot better.
Allison Iraheta did a pretty good job. She’s a great performer with great vocals. Too bad she’s freaking obnoxious. I think the extend of her fame should be playing Kelly Clarkson in a made-for-TV movie.
Still love Anoop but he pretty much bored me to tears this week.
Best part of the night was when Simon drew a mustache on Paula’s face. How he did that with her fully sober and awake, I’m not sure. But it was funny.
Leaving tomorrow in my opinion…Meghan Joy Corkery or Michael Sarver.
Stevie Wonder tomorrow!!!!!!
